You learn to design products that take into consideration the future’s challenges and possibilities. You learn to use different materials and manufacturing methods that utilise traditional and modern technologies.
Content of the studies
As an innovator you make an impact what the future world looks like. You can design and manufacture products responsibly, respecting the environment and people. You have familiarized yourself with new and traditional technologies from different materials to digital textile modeling and 3D printing. Depending on what you specialize in, you will be able to utilize and combine different materials and manufacturing methods in clothing, footwear, glass or ceramics design.
Worklife
You will become a professional designer. You can create environmentally conscious products for example as a fashion designer, product developer or entrepreneur.
Opit suunnittelemaan ja valmistamaan tuotteita vastuullisesti, ympäristöä ja ihmisiä kunnioittaen sekä opit tuntemaan uudet tekniikat digitaalisesta mallinnuksesta, tekstiili- ja 3D-tulostukseen. Osaat hyödyntää ja yhdistellä eri materiaaleja ja valmistustapoja vaate-, jalkine-, lasi- sekä keramiikkamuotoilussa. Koulutuksesta valmistut muotoilun ammattilaiseksi.
