Degree Programme in Climate Smart Agriculture | Bachelor of Natural Resources | full-time

Climate Smart Agriculture is a degree programme for those interested in agriculture, how our food is produced and finding more sustainable solutions for this production. You will study in Mustiala campus, a historical place that is not only beautiful but also fully equipped with on-campus cowhouse and hectares of fields.

Content of the studies

We will teach you sustainable plant and animal production, agricultural technology and digitalisation, organic methods, bioeconomy and circular economy as well as rural entrepreneurship. We study mostly in teams, and our students work with different projects during their entire degree. Our students will also learn research work, project development and innovations, and get to rehearse these skills together with our own research team on campus.

Worklife

Typical jobs after graduation include farm manager, agricultural expert, research technician, teacher or project manager. You can work in expert-level jobs in business, advisory, education and research.

Kansainvälisessä koulutuksessa pääset opiskelemaan maaseutuelinkeinoja Mustialan kampuksella englanniksi. Ryhmässäsi on opiskelijoita eri maista, joka tarjoaa mahdollisuuden sekä englannin kielen harjoitteluun, että uusiin kulttuureihin tutustumisessa. Opintojen keskiössä on kestävä kasvi- ja eläintuotanto, digitalisaatio, luomutuotanto, bio- ja kiertotalous sekä yrittäjyys maaseutuelinkeinoissa.
